What we do
Harbor City Water Damage Pros handles the emergency and rebuild stages of water damage in homes and small commercial spaces. That means emergency water removal, water mitigation and drying, flood damage restoration, cleanup and repair, with mold remediation as a secondary service.
You will find us at 1403 W Lomita Blvd, Harbor City, CA 90710, and the emergency line never closes. Our crews are licensed and insured.
How an emergency call works
You call
A dispatcher asks about the source of the water, the rooms affected and whether power is safe.
We assess
Moisture meters and thermal cameras map the wet areas, and photos document them.
We explain
The scope of work and how the price is set are explained before work starts.
We dry and rebuild
Extraction, drying equipment and, once readings are dry, repairs.
Same-day response is offered when available. We do not promise an arrival time, because that depends on traffic and on how many emergencies are in progress at once.
The standards we reference
ANSI/IICRC S500 is the published standard for professional water damage restoration, and S520 is the published standard for mold remediation. We refer to them for water categories, drying goals and containment practice.
You should ask any restoration company, including us, whether its crews work to these standards and how that shows up in the written scope. A good answer names the water category, the equipment and the way drying is measured.
What we do not do
- We do not do waterproofing, foundation repair or exterior drainage. If water keeps returning, you need one of those trades and we will say so.
- We do not handle fire and smoke damage.
- We do not approve claims, bill insurers directly or tell you what a policy will pay. Your insurer decides coverage.
- We do not repair the pipe. A plumber fixes the leak and we dry and restore what it soaked.

How we handle your questions before and after the job
Most callers ask three things first: what will this involve, how is the price set, and what do I do while I wait. The dispatcher answers the first and third on the call. The second is answered by an inspection, where moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras show how far the water has travelled, so the scope and price are explained before any work begins.
We do not publish prices because water category, affected area, materials and drying days change every job. We do work to the published ANSI/IICRC S500 standard for water damage and S520 for mold, and you can ask any restoration company whether its crews follow them. Licensed and insured is the only credential we state here.
If your loss involves insurance, keep photos, notes and receipts from the first hour. Our written scope and moisture records can be passed to your insurer, but claim decisions and payouts stay with them. See our services for what each stage involves, or the service area page to check your town.
